Jeffery studied fine art at Ringling College of Art and Design. Apprenticed with Toro Yamamoto and honed his skills freelancing with focus in the drawing media. As a Painter, Jeffery draws his inspiration from the natural environment, more specific the relation of sky and land. He is an exhibiting painter with his work shown in solo and group shows in galleries and alternative spaces. His work has been represented by galleries in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and on the west coast of the United States and is in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
As an educator, Jeffery has been teaching Teen Studios at Ringling College for seventeen years and is the coordinator of the College’s Summer Teen Studio program and is an Adjunct Instructor responsible for teaching advanced foundation Two and Three Dimensional Studio Art at Booker High School, a Visual and Performance Arts Magnet Program. Jeffery lives and works in Sarasota Florida
